The International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA) Jamaica Chapter will be running a series of workshops.

Key Objectives of the Technical Workshop:

1. To provide an overview on the various roles of Analysis within Law Enforcement environs

- To foster a greater understanding of what analysis entails and the value for investigators, supervisors and managers who may not be familiar with analytical tradecraft, Some practical examples of the diverse nature of analysis with the law enforcement community i.e. intelligence & crime analysis, evidential use, assessment, forecasting, etc.

2. To demonstrate how the Analysis can support the work of the investigator

- Specific emphases on the benefits of analytical engagement by investigative teams in support of their works in order to promote 'buy-in' to analytical techniques as a valuable tool for investigators.
