Bluestone Analytics and the Anti-Human Trafficking Intelligence Initiative (ATII) are hosting a Webinar on March 20, 2024 at 12:00 PM titled “From Innocence to Exploitation: Tracing Victims’ Paths from Social Media to the Dark Web’s Depths”. The Presenter will be Mr. Matt Richardson – CTCE, Senior Advisor – Intelligence & Child Safety.

Mr. Richardson is a seasoned expert in OSINT and dark web intelligence, bringing extensive experience to the forefront of complex investigations targeting sex trafficking and CSAM offenders.

The presentation will delve into the tactics employed for victim selection, initial contact on mainstream social media platforms and the coercion processes unfolding on private messaging apps and the deep web. The Presentation will also explore the operations of sextortion and torture rings, exposing the harsh realities faced by victims caught up in these malicious schemes.

Mr. Richardson is the Director of Intelligence and Investigations at the ATII where he serves as part of a team of experts and uses his skills on a daily basis to make communities safer places. Outside his role at ATII, Mr. Richardson is a Professor at Loyalist College and a member of the Rogers Communications Cybersecurity Catalyst Team. He also serves as a liaison with law enforcement, trains new investigators, and serves as a primary source of peer support with the investigative community.
