at 10am EST. The topic for this webinar is “The Only Source of Knowledge
is Experience” – with Naomi Davis-Crane

Naomi Davis-Crane is a lecturer and programme leader in intelligence
analysis, vulnerability, and leadership within the Liverpool Centre for
Advanced Policing Studies.  Prior to which she was the Head of Analysis
for Counter Terrorism Policing – Borders, working with analysts and
researchers across the UK in the assessment of intelligence relating to
national security threats at the nation’s frontiers; including liaising
nationally and internationally with law enforcement and other agencies
working in the border security sphere.

Naomi also has comprehensive experience in intelligence across multiple
police forces and threat areas such as homicide, sexual offences,
night-time economy, drugs, and acquisitive crime. She also spent two
years seconded to the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre as a subject
matter expert in terrorism in West Africa and the Sahel. These
experienced created a firm foundation for her current role in developing
the intelligence analysts of the future.

Naomi is currently completing a doctorate in police culture and
leadership and conducting research in the application of artificial
intelligence in leadership apprentice education. Her other research
areas include intelligence analysis, international terrorism, and
organizational dynamics. Naomi is passionate about enhancing
intelligence analysts through a holistic approach. Drawing from her
knowledge and experiences, Naomi will be looking at understanding
tradecraft, developing comprehensive subject matter expertise of the
threat sector, enhancing communication skills, and having an awareness
of the dynamics of leadership and organisational behaviour in law
enforcement agencies.
